You can find oodles of information about Bates method online. These are just some of my favourites.

There are teachers who credit Bates, and there are teachers who claim to have improved upon his work or to have developed their own system.

In my opinion, anyone who thinks they can improve on Bates has in fact not understood his work properly, and I would urge any serious seeker after truth to go direct to the source.
